Commercial Company Compliance - Session 3 - Labor Compliance Series 2025

Labor Compliance Webinar Series - 2025
This session focuses on the prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements reflected in the IRS IRA tax credit. Commercial companies with limited or no experience receiving federal funds (i.e., have never operated as a government contractor) are being faced with strict rules that govern employee pay and benefits associated with IRA tax credits. These rules require increased process controls and record retention procedures. This session outlines the requirements associated with the prevailing wage and apprenticeship programs and reviews the differences between these requirements and the Davis Bacon and Related Act regulation. This session also covers establishing compliant practices, as well as best practices and common problems with monitoring ongoing compliance.
