In this revised course offering, we will discuss the experience of cost reimbursable contracting from proposal to closeout. We will address when cost reimbursable contract types are appropriate, significant differences from fixed-price contracts, and the regulations relevant to cost reimbursable contracts. We will also provide an understanding of cost accounting requirements and the auditability of these contract types with best practices to manage contract profitability.
