Overview
The Cloud Security and FedRAMP compliance course provides students with an in-depth knowledge of cloud security requirements, cloud security issues, cloud computing architecture and security concepts for the three types of cloud computing: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) , Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS), and explains what cloud service providers and agencies must do to understand the latest guidance provided by NIST and to meet the requirements for the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP).

This program is designed for both non-tech professionals such as contracts specialists, contracts administrators, directors of contracts and others.  It is also relevant to technology specialists who have to understand cloud computing concepts, FEDRAMP compliance and program initiatives.

Defense Acquisition Workforce members must acquire 80 Continuous Learning Points (CLP) every two years from the date of entry into the acquisition workforce for as long as the member remains in an acquisition position per DoD Instruction 5000.66.
