Often, contractors and their regulators question the allowability of a cost under FAR Part 31, Contract cost principles and procedures. Presently, the FAR contains 52 contract cost principles, which range from the relatively simple (e.g., bad debts) to the highly complex (e.g., compensation for personal services).  With so many cost principles, understanding the intent of the regulation is imperative.

Join us for this 5-part series and plunge into the cost principles with Deb Nixon.  Each 90-minute session will tackle a group of related cost principles explaining the requirements and nuances impacting their interpretation.  Upon completing the series, you will gain a solid knowledge of the cost principles to assist with optimizing cost recovery and mitigating the risk of questioned costs, interest, and penalties on your Government contracts.
