This is session 1 of 2 in the Breach: Before, During and After- Best Practices & Prevention Strategies virtual course.

Data breaches are costly and create chaos for organizations and their customers. So how do you protect your organization from a data breach? How do recognize a breach? How do you respond to a breach?

This virtual program will focus on intrusions, vulnerabilities and protection for contractors, small businesses, government and non-profit entities. We will discuss insider threats, email challenges, social networking and virus/malware as well as ransomware challenges to organizations.

During the second half of the day, we will do some simulation/role playing so you have a better understanding of the components of a breach and the impact a breach has on your organization, customers, vendors and suppliers.

  • Develop a best practice strategy for breach prevention and reaction
  • Create an action plan before a breach happens
  • Determine guidelines and communication channels should a breach occur
