This is session 2 of 2 in the Changes and Equitable Adjustments in Government Contracts virtual course.

During the unprecedented national emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, many contracting professionals are under 'stay at home' directives and unable to perform duties as required by their federal government contract. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) has a solution. This course, a core course in government contracts, will cover what your options are, actions you can take to properly request an equitable adjustment, and will also address a wide spectrum of topics relating to government contract changes.

Course includes full coverage of the Changes Clause plus the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) as it relates to the subject. Attendees should have at least a base-level knowledge of government contracting, the FAR, and agency level FAR supplements.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course you will:
  • Have a working knowledge of changes and equitable adjustments
  • Apply pricing principles to adjustments or changes
  • Create formal request for an adjustment or change
  • Negotiate successfully an equitable adjustment
  • Develop an understanding of the regulatory underpinnings of a change or an adjustment

This live virtual course is eligible for both CLE and CPE credit.
NOTE: CPE/CLE credit for attendees are subject to participation and approval by the governing boards.
