This is session 1 of 2 in the Cybersecurity Compliance for Government Contractors virtual course.

NEW CMMC REQUIREMENTS HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED
The new CMMC requirements have been published and will take effect in 60 days from October 11, 2024. The new rule requires all DOD Federal Contractors, including prime and subcontractors, to comply with these standards within a specified time frame. You may have many questions about what that means for your business. It is important that you attend and understand what this means for your organization.

This course includes the updates on the new CMMC cybersecurity rule.

Cybersecurity Compliance for Government Contractors is a new course of Federal Publications Seminars, driven by the demand of our customers to keep up with the ever-changing landscape of newly-published rules and regulations and increased enforcement facing those who do business with the government. It is a high-level review of the cybersecurity rules and regulations, emphasizing practical keys to success in today's cybersecurity compliance world.

This fundamental course covers the basic cybersecurity rules and regulations (FAR, FISMA, FedRAMP, DFARS, CISA, CMMC), the newly published regulations (DHARS, VA, NIST), how cybersecurity has changed the SPRS Score, and the new “TikTok” ban - in clear, concise terms you can apply to your individual work and cybersecurity operations.
