Cybersecurity Summit | Afternoon Session

As we enter the final calendar quarter of 2020, we’ve all been challenged, and somewhat hobbled by Covid-19.  This Pandemic is not the only virus we need to worry about.  Despite all the other distractions happening in our business day, we cannot take our eye off monitoring for viruses, ransomware, malware created by a host of characters wanting to snoop, hold hostage, destroy or create havoc within our cyber infrastructures.

This virtual Cybersecurity Summit will discuss the top priorities including and beyond COVID-19 that government and businesses are facing within the government contracting industry.  We will examine the legal and regulatory framework of cybersecurity, insurance perils and protections, employees working remotely and global policy on cybersecurity as we play out a very sophisticated game of hide and seek with our adversaries and rogue organizations.

PM Session Topics
Q&A Fireside Chat
Timothy Trickett, Chief Technology Officer, BDO
Ed Bassett, NeoSystems

Cybersecurity and Insurance: The Elephant in the Room

The Cyber Insurance market garnered a revenue of $3.9 billion in the year 2019 globally and is anticipated to reach USD 21.7 billion by 2027, growing at a compound annual growth (CAGR) of 28.3% over the forecasted period. The ever changing landscape of threats against breaches and a limited workforce continue to highlight the importance of how we view and implement cyber insurance, where the market is headed, and how we plan on navigating the business and technical aspects for claims amidst the global threat of cyber warfare. This session will unite leading perspectives directly from the cyber insurance industry, will discuss critical infrastructure concerns and the gaps which need to be addressed to protect business integrity.

Closing Session - Cyber Warfare 2020
