This is session 2 of 2 in the HR for Government Contractors virtual course.

A special two-day virtual course for government contractors and human resources professionals covering:
  • Equal Employment Opportunity, Anti-Harassment, Drug-Free Workplace, and Anti-Human Trafficking
  • Affirmative Action Plan Requirements

  • Insider Threat Issues
Compliance with all of the laws related to contracting with the U.S. Government is complex! Add in the myriad of human resources requirements that are required of federal contractors - recordkeeping, posting, training, and reporting – and the responsibilities can feel overwhelming. With more frequent random audits by the Department of Labor, it is more important now than ever for contractors to be compliant. The consequences for non-compliance are severe, and may include fines, penalties, back wages, as well as the possibility of suspension of contracts and even debarment.  It is imperative to have robust compliance processes and procedures in place to avoid these consequences.

This special two-day virtual course will outline the human resources requirements for government contractors, when they are applicable, and how to efficiently incorporate them into your daily contracting activities. The special course curriculum has been designed to offer maximum benefits to government contractors and human resources professionals who are responsible for HR compliance in government contracting.

What You Will Learn:
  • Principles and Policies on Employment Regulations
  • Developing Processes around compliance of Regulations
  • How to create record keeping files for the programs
  • Posting requirements for EEOC and other regulations
  • Best Practices for interviewing and documentation
  • Code of Conduct
  • How to keep up with recent changes and updates to laws

This live virtual course is eligible for both CLE and CPE credit.
NOTE: CPE/CLE credit for attendees are subject to participation and approval by the governing boards.
