This webinar will address dual challenges and opportunities faced by contractors stemming from the current COVID-19 environment. Established government contractors currently performing government contracts may face cost and / or schedule impacts caused by various delays, disruptions, stop work situations, etc., for a variety of reasons rooted in COVID-19. Conversely, commercial contractors or contractors that do not traditionally perform under government contracts may now be faced with new opportunities related to meeting current and urgent government needs, namely, medical supplies and related services.

Each of these situations present unique government contract compliance considerations as well as clear distinctions in contractor reactions and responses. This webinar will offer various attributes or aspects of each that contractors should be aware of to effectively manage the risks and rewards associated with both current and prospective government contracts.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of this session, students will be:
  • Prepared to identify basic FAR clauses in relationship to COVID-19
  • Understand the impact of the current crisis on contract vehicles
  • Understand impact as it relates to costs and delays in contracts
