Virtual Happy Hour Webinar

The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged federal government contractors in many different ways, and Congress has passed a number of different laws to provide aid to include the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Stimulus (CARES) Act Section 3610 and the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA). In accordance with this legislation, the SBA, Treasury, Department of Defense, and others have issued regulations and guidance that may significantly impact certain government contractors who partake in the relief funding.

Join us for a virtual roundtable as a panel of government contracting, tax, and legal professionals discuss these regulations and provide best practices for contractors on how to maximize cost recovery and minimize business disruption.

The learning objectives we plan to achieve are:
  • Discuss the federal government’s latest guidance on how impacted contractors may be made whole using CARES 3610, Payroll Protection Program Loans/Forgiveness, and FFCRA tax credits and the evolving best practices contractors have implemented in response to the guidance
  • Discuss the process by which to request equitable adjustments or submit COVID-19 related claims
  • Discuss the contractor’s responsibilities related to mitigating performance delays, subcontractor performance and overall supply chain management in this environment
