On Monday, October 24 a US District Court judge ordered a nationwide preliminary injunction blocking new rules requiring many US government contractors to disclose labor law violations including workplace safety violations when bidding for contracts. Labor law violation disclosure requirements and restriction on use of arbitration agreements portions of the Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces Final Rule and Guidance (“Final Rule”) were set to take effect October 25.
