    What are the features and benefits of your products?

    FPS offers the following products:
    • FPS Certificates – various certificate programs covering government contracts interest areas.
    • FPS Classroom courses - Over 300 in-person classroom courses are available annually. Top experts in the industry build these to ensure you have up-to-the-minute information from sources you trust, covering all aspects of government contracting - from foundational to advanced levels.
    • FPS Events – Events that bring government contracting professionals together to learn, network, and connect around critical, relevant topics.
    • FPS Connect - Informal Learning Resources – A repository of “just-in-time” informal learning resources critical to the government contractor. 
    • FPS Subscriptions – Access online training only or all FPS content. All subscriptions include access to FPSConnect. Demi, I have added more below on subscription types.
    • FPS Virtual Courses – Courses are presented online/virtually and are designed to simulate the traditional classroom learning experience. Can be viewed “live” or on-demand.    
    • FPS Webinars – Smaller, bite-size online government contracts training courses.
    • FPSCustom Courses - You can bring FPS Classroom or Virtual/Online courses - or a combination - to you.
      • Choose from hundreds of current and past courses or we can customize a course especially for your department or organization. We'll work with FPS instructors to deliver your curriculum online or at your location, or a combination of both.

    What is the difference between the three FPS Subscriptions that are offered?

    FPS Professional Subscription 
    Get access to over 500 live and on-demand webinars. These are 1—to 2 hours long and almost always accredited for CLE and CPE. Access to Access to FPSConnect is included.

    FPS Premium Subscription
    Get access to everything included in the FPS Professional Subscription PLUS access 175+ live and on-demand virtual courses. Virtual courses last anywhere from 1 day to 5 days and include 3-hour sessions in the morning and 3-hour sessions in the afternoon. 
    You can also access FPSEvents that are offered Virtually. Times for these will vary.
    Access to FPSConnect is included.

    FPS OnePass Subscription
    Get access to everything included in the FPS Premium Subscription PLUS all FPS Classroom Courses and FPSEvents. Additionally, OnePass subscribers get access to premium content including the Leadership Institute Certificate and associated courses. Premium content is constantly being added.
    Access to FPSConnect is included.

    Are your courses accredited?

    Federal Publications Seminars is an approved provider and offers programs with accreditation through:
    • The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) Continuing Professional Education (CPE). 
    • Continuing Legal Education (CLE); and 
    • Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Continuous Learning Points (CLP).

    Do you provide certificates of completion?

    Certificates of Completion will be provided to all seminar participants who attended Federal Publications Seminars classroom courses and virtual courses following course completion upon request.

    What is included in an FPS OnePass Corporate Solution that is not included in an individual subscription?

    Do you have exclusive offers, or do you offer discounts?
    • You can see a list of current special offers and discounts here.
      • We do not provide “government rates” for individual purchasers.
      • We do not provide “non-profit organization rates” for individual purchasers.

    How do I register for a course?
    • Go to the course description page that you would like to attend and click on “Register.” 
      • You will be brought to the online shopping cart. Follow the prompts and pay by credit card.
    • If you prefer to speak with an FPS representative to register, call 888.494.3696.
    • This page is dedicated to registering for classroom courses, events, virtual courses, and webinars/webinar series and provides a more detailed explanation of how to register.


    What happens after I register for my course or event?
    • You will receive a purchase confirmation email with your order details.
    • Within the confirmation email, you will have an option to Create an Account. FPS advises you to create an account. The advantages are that you can:
      • Track your on-demand course progress (if you have signed up for online course(s) or webinars.
      • Follow your upcoming courses.
      • View your completed courses.
      • Download certificates for completed on-demand (online) courses.
      • Receive personalized messages.
        • You can also opt out of receiving personalized messages.
    Purchase confirmation emails specific to a “live” Classroom Course, FPS Weeklong Conference, or FPSEvent 
    • Will list details on the course/event location. 
    • You will also receive a link to the course “times.”
    Purchase confirmation emails specific to Virtual Courses, Webinar Series, and Webinars:
    • Within the email there will be an “Access” link that you will refer to at the start of a “live” Virtual Course or Webinar.
    • Within the email, there will be an “Access” link you can click on immediately to access your “on-demand” Virtual Course or Webinar.


    What happens after I purchase an FPS Certificate?
    • You will receive a purchase confirmation email when you purchase an FPS Certificate. Within the purchase confirmation email, you can click on “View Certificate” and register for your courses within the Certificate program page.
    • It is suggested that you create an FPS account if you do not already have one.
    • Once you register for the courses you need to complete the Certificate program, you will see all your upcoming courses and completed courses in your My Account.


    How do I purchase an individual FPS Subscription?
    1. Purchase your FPS Subscription on the FPS Subscription website.
      • There are three types of subscriptions to choose from. Select the subscription that you want and click “add to cart.”
        • Follow the prompts in the online shopping cart.
    2. Purchase your FPS Subscription through FPS Customer Service by calling 888.494.3696.
    3. If you prefer to talk to someone to register for your courses after you purchase an FPS Subscription, call 888.494.3696.


    When I try and register for a course, there are two prices listed: price for the course and another price for a OnePass Subscription. 
    • What do I do if I want to register for just the course?
      • Click on the register button on the page. Add the course to the cart.
    • If I want to register for the OnePass, what do I do?
      • Right near the register button, you will see two options: register for the course and register for OnePass.
        • Click on the OnePass option and you will see that both the course AND the OnePass Subscription will be added to the cart. See more about what is included in a OnePass Subscription here.


    What is your refund policy?

    Our refund policy is listed in your purchase confirmation email. 
    • You must contact us two weeks before the start of the live course. 
    • You can reschedule a course within this time frame, or
    • You can get course credit, which you can use later.
    • If you reschedule a course one or two weeks before the start of the live course, you will be charged a $150 rescheduling fee.

    Do you offer digital badging?
    • FPS has partnered with Credly to offer you a digital version of your credentials. This digital version takes the form of a digital badge. This verified image allows you to manage and share your credentials and achievements online in a simple, trusted way and can be verified in real time.
    • FPS Digital Badges are offered for select courses and are included in the price of your Certificate or Course registration fee!

  • Certificates of Completion and Documentation
    How do I get an invoice for a course I registered for or an FPS Subscription I purchased?
    • You should get an invoice within 24-36 hours of your purchase.
    • If you do not receive an invoice after 36 hours, you can call 888.494.3696 or fill out a “Contact Us” form here.


    How do I get a Certificate of Completion for a Classroom course?
    • You must stop at the Registration Desk and sign in on the first day of each course you are taking.
    • You must complete an Affidavit of Attendance form that will be emailed to you after completing the workshop.
      • NOTE: You will receive your certificate 30-45 days after you complete the online affidavit form. 
      • Check your spam or junk folder if you do not see an email in your inbox.
    How do I get CLE, CPE, or CLP credits after I complete a Classroom course?
    • You must stop at the Registration Desk and sign in on the first day of each course you are taking.
    • ADDITIONALLY, you must SIGN IN & OUT in the back of your classroom EACH day. 
    • You must complete an Affidavit of Attendance form that will be emailed to you after completing your workshop.
      • NOTE: You will receive your certificate 30-45 days after you complete the online affidavit form
        • Important Note: After your course has ended, you will receive an email for your Affidavit of Attendance. You must complete this form to receive full credit for the course and/or a Certificate of Completion. Due to changes with certain accreditation bodies, the Affidavit of Attendance form must be completed within 10 days of the program, or you will risk losing your credit.


    How do I get CLE, CPE, or CLP credits after I complete a “live” Virtual course or an accredited “live” Webinar?
    • You must complete an Affidavit of Attendance form that will be emailed to you after your workshop is completed.
      • NOTE: You will receive your certificate 30-45 days after you complete the online affidavit form
      • Important Note: After your course has ended, you will receive an email for your Affidavit of Attendance. You must fill out this form to receive full credit for the course and/or for a Certificate of Completion. Due to changes with certain accreditation bodies, the Affidavit of Attendance form must be completed within 10 days of the program, or you will risk losing your credit.
    How do I get a Certificate of Completion for an on-demand Virtual Course or Webinar?
    1. Log into Your Account: Visit fedpubseminars.com and log into your account. 
    2. Navigate to the “My Courses” or “My Certificates” section.
    3. Find the course you completed and download or print your certificate.


    How do I get a Digital Badge for a Course I Completed? 
    • FPS offers digital badging for select Classroom and Virtual courses.
      • For a complete list of courses, visit our Credentialing page and scroll down to “How do I earn a badge?”
    • For information on accepting and managing your digital badge, go to our Credentialing page and scroll down to “How do I accept and manage my digital badge?”
    • You will receive an email from Federal Publications Seminars via Credly letting you know that you have earned a badge.
      • Follow the instructions in that email to accept and manage your digital badge.
