10 courses
December 15, 2020 - The US government is reeling from multiple data breaches at top federal agencies, the result of a worldwide hacking campaign with possible ties to Russia.*  The Department of Homeland Security, the State Department, NIH, USPS, the Pentagon, and Departments of Treasury and Commerce are part of a list of a months-long digital spying operation. And the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) issued a directive (Emergency Directive 21-01) on December 13 calling on all federal civilian agencies to review their networks for indicators of compromise.  The DoD interim rule for its CMMC went into effect last November, and a number of steps must be taken by contractors in 2021.

Courses offered during the Cybersecurity Institute will equip you with an understanding of the latest complicated and sometimes contradictory laws and regulations, and teach you how to protect your systems/organization. Government contracting and legal professionals will receive a strong knowledge baseline for critical organizational assignments in strategic operational planning, proactive measures, deterrence initiatives in cybersecurity, and immediate application on the job and in practice.

Participants who attend all five course days will be awarded a Cybersecurity in Government Contracting Certificate.

Attend all five days or choose the courses/days that best meet your objectives. Immerse yourself in topics such as:
  • Cloud contracting
  • Cyber breaches
  • Cybersecurity law
  • Network security
  • Privacy, ethics, and reporting
  • Risk management
  • Selling 'cloud' and IT products and services
Who Will Benefit?
Open to all professionals including compliance officers, contracting professionals in management and administration, IT professionals, general counsel, general law practitioners, government contract attorneys, and program and project managers.
