Based on our popular classroom course, this survey class provides you with the most recent information on legal and regulatory issues in doing government contracting and subcontracting in foreign countries. Its primary focus is to give you an understanding of opportunities and risks in foreign government contracting and performance of U.S. Foreign Military Sales contracts.   

We will focus on opportunities and risks in government contracting in foreign markets and the overall international legal and regulatory environment in foreign contracting. This includes understanding the roles of foreign government customer and regulatory organizations, as well as the World Trade Organization, various Trade Agreements, and relevant US regulations including those governing Foreign Military Sales and Foreign Military Financing contracting, and Direct Commercial Sales contracting.

We will also discuss the very hot topics of sanctions, export controls and anticorruption law and regulations.
